Keith Miller

Earth Holder Sangha member and Oakdale Environmental Management Commission chair

Keith Miller has worked in environmental and sustainability management for nearly 40 years, including 37 years at 3M. He retired from a Sustainability Strategic Advisor position at 3M in July 2015. Keith is currently chair of the Oakdale Environmental Management Commission for the City of Oakdale, Minnesota. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Alliance for Sustainability in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has advised and worked on projects related to climate change and renewable energy for non-profits including WWF and World Resources Institute. Keith is a Earth Holder Sangha member and has worked on various projects for this group. The Earth Holder Sangha is an affinity group within the Plum Village International Community of Engaged Buddhists, founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. He also is an aspirant for the Order of Interbeing in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. Keith is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree in 1974.
