Kelly Moore

Kelly Moore is a writer and yoga teacher with extensive experience in international security and public policy. She has worked for the United Nations in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo during and after the wars that tore apart the former Yugoslavia; served as Sen. Joe Lieberman's Senate press secretary during his vice presidential run; helped run a counterterrorism program at the State Department in the aftermath of 9/11; and served on the 9/11 Commission, where she co-authored 9/11 and Terrorist Travel, the first in-depth study of how terrorists have been penetrating U.S. borders. Previously, she worked for the National Football League. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in sports information and has graduate degrees in journalism and Russian and East European studies from Indiana University.
