Executive Creative Director, Deep Focus

Ken Kraemer is the Executive Creative Director of Deep Focus. He is responsible for leading the agency’s creative vision and continually building new capabilities that can deliver cutting edge brand engagement programs.

Ken leads diverse and talented teams to question the status quo of marketing, digital design and social media. He applies a unique combination of design, user experience, marketing and industrial management expertise to create delightful programs that make a measurable impact on his clients’ business objectives. Ken leads work across Deep Focus’s portfolio including Purina, Beneful, WellPoint, Capital One, Hearst, MoMA, Microsoft, AMC and Pepsi.

Prior to joining Deep Focus, Ken was Creative Director at IconNicholson, where he lead a business unit that served The Coca-Cola Company, McKinsey & Company, MasterCard, and The Robin Hood Foundation, among others. Prior to IconNicholson, Ken was the Creative Director, User Experience at Atmosphere BBDO, where he lead the user experience practice and handled such clients as GE, Target, Emirates Airline, Citi, Cingular Wireless, eBay and PepsiCo.

Ken’s work has earned a stack of hardware – some shaped like Lions, some shaped like Pencils, one shaped like an Emmy and others defying recognizable description. His honors include The New York Emmys, the One Show, Cannes, The Webbys, OMMA, MIXX, Sammys, Andys and others. His work has also been recognized in AdAge, Communication Arts, Forbes, Creative Review and numerous social marketing trade blogs.

Originally from New York, Ken holds a degree from Carnegie Mellon University where he studied Industrial Administration, Graphic Communications Management and Graphic Design. Go Tartans!
