Kenneth Klemow
Professor of Biology and Environmental Science

For over 30 years, Ken Klemow has served on the faculty of Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - where he teaches courses in biology, botany, ecology and energy. His research examines the impacts of energy development on natural ecosystems, and approaches toward restoration back to natural conditions. Active at the national level on ecology education issues, Dr. Klemow received the Eugene Odum award for Excellence in Ecology Education from the Ecological Society of America in 2010. He was recently voted as the President-Elect of the Pennsylvania Biological Survey, a statewide conservation organization.
