Anindya Kundu

Doctoral Candidate in Sociology of Education at NYU

Anindya Kundu is a former PhD Candidate of the Sociology of Education program at NYU. He was an Adjunct Professor of the course, "American Dilemmas: Race, Inequality, and the Unfulfilled Promise of Public Education," designed and previously taught by his mentor, Dr. Pedro Noguera. Anindya studies the concept of agency, and how disadvantaged students navigate obstacles to beat the odds against them. He is the author of the forthcoming book, "The Power of Student Agency."
