Laura Donahue is the Virginia state director for The Humane Society of the United States. She works to help animals through legislation, corporate campaigns, citizen advocacy, coalition building and other projects with both local and national scope. Laura holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with a specialization in Social Action and Community Development. She resides in Richmond with her two beloved canines and enjoys frequent trips to visit her family in Arlington and Charlottesville.
