Laurence Maslon

LAURENCE MASLON and MICHAEL KANTOR are the authors of the new book, Superheroes! Capes, Cowls, and the Creation of Comic Book Culture, and the minds behind the new three-part PBS documentary, Superheroes: A Never-Ending Battle, which premieres on October 15. They also collaborated on the Emmy-winning PBS series Broadway: The American Musical and the Emmy-nominated Make ’Em Laugh, as well as their companion books. Maslon is an arts professor/associate chair at the Graduate Acting Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Kantor teaches documentary filmmaking at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
