Layla Amjadi
STAND Student Director

Originally from Boca Raton, FL, Layla is a senior at Harvard University where she studies Government and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. She started her human rights work by researching for the Harvard University Committee on Human Rights Studies, and began her anti-genocide activism by interning at the Genocide Intervention Network two summers ago. She has served as STAND's Regional Conference Conference Coordinator (2007-2008) and Programming Coordinator. Layla feels honored to work on behalf of this incredible network of united, dedicated, and inspiring students. Outside of STAND Layla loves to hip hop dance and choreograph.
