Lisa Brown is a New York Times bestselling illustrator, author and cartoonist. Her books include: How to Be, Baby Mix Me a Drink, Picture the Dead with Adele Griffin, and The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming, by Lemony Snicket. Lisa resides in California, but generally lives on Twitter.
Her three-panel book reviews can be found on Tumblr. Her reviews can also be found reprinted in:The Graphic Canon, Volumes 1, 2, and 3 (including a two-page three-panel of Lady Chatterley’s Lover by D.H. Lawrence). Half Minute Horrors, ed. Susan Rich: a two-page three-panel of The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. McSweeney’s San Francisco Panorama newspaper (where she illustrates a game where the reader matches a classic book cover to its corresponding moral lesson.) The Nashville Review. And she actually also writes some reviews for the New York Times that are way too long.
