I am a strategic organizational development consultant and social entrepreneur.

Recently coined by a long-time colleague as a Cultural Maverick, Lisa Yancey is a strategic organizational development consultant and social entrepreneur who specializes in institutional planning, impact practices, policies, and engagement, and social impact business planning. She is the President of Yancey Consulting, which offers a range of long-term institutional planning and services including ​strategic planning, revenue generation (earned and contributed), business planning, board development, institutional equity, benchmarking & evaluations, and capacity assessments. Lisa chooses to work with practitioners, nonprofit organizations, philanthropists, and philanthropic institutions committed to dismantling inequities, enriching marginalized communities, building leadership, and amplifying diverse perspectives. She works across arts, culture and social justice sectors. Strategy development towards specific and measurable objectives is the connectivity tissue and passion that weave her work. Lisa matriculated from both Boston College Law School and Emory University, respectively earning her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of the Arts degrees. She is a current member of the New York State Bar Association and has been doing consulting work with nonprofit organizations and small businesses since 2001.
