Third-year law student and author of the upcoming autobiography 'Victor's Luck.'
Victor Feraru is a third-year law student. He received his B.A. in English Writing (with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies) from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Feraru works as a volunteer for the American Bar Association’s Law Student Division, as
its social media assistant.
Feraru is a member of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services' Children’s Justice Task Force. There he represents the legislatively mandated position of an adult survivor of child abuse and/or neglect.
Prior to being adopted as an adult, he lived in over 40 foster homes, 3 group homes, and had been homeless in his teens and early twenties. Now he is a proud son to a wonderful mother, and a doggy-daddy (of a Yellow Lab named Andy).
Feraru was the 2008 winner of The Nation Magazine college writing contest with his piece "Transcending Trauma."
His autobiography, Victor's Luck, will be published in late 2018.
