Lou Leonard

World Wildilfe Fund's Senior Vice President of Climate and Energy

As a conservationist who’s worked with communities across America and around the world, Lou’s seen the effects our changing climate is having right now. From unprecedented droughts and wildfires in the American West, where Lou began his career, to dying coral reefs in East Africa, where he lived and taught, to extreme rainfall in New England, where Lou grew up, climate change is here and getting worse. As World Wildlife Fund's Senior Vice President of Climate and Energy, Lou is the organization’s strategic leader on its work to fight climate change and build a low-carbon economy.
