Louis F Graham

I meditate, read, and write about longstanding social issues impacting my life and communities of which I am apart. I breathe deeply and continue. I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences with a joint appointment in the Commonwealth Honors College and am a faculty affiliate of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am Co-Director of the Ford Foundation funded Detroit Youth Passages project (www.detroityouthpassages.org), which seeks to examine and positively transform structural conditions contributing to sexual and psychosocial vulnerabilities among young people.
