Lynda Decker

President and creative director, Decker Design

Lynda Decker is President and Creative Director of Decker Design. Graphic designer, writer, and design critic, Lynda has a unique and systematic approach to projects that is intellectual, inquisitive and intuitive. She has a solid track record of understanding and fulfilling clients’ needs and has decades-long relationships to prove it. The design industry continues to recognize her achievements through numerous prestigious awards. Lynda studied design and cultural theory at the Cooper Union, holds a BFA in Graphic Design from C.W. Post College, an MFA in Advertising from Syracuse University, and an MFA in Design Criticism from The School of Visual Arts. She is also an alumna of the Harvard Business School Design Leadership Program and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. She has been a lecturer and visiting critic at Syracuse University, Parsons and the School of Visual Arts. As an active member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Lynda was a past vice president and board member for the New York chapter and is currently serving on the AIGA National Women’s Leadership Initiative steering committee. She wants everyone to embrace the power of good design.
