I am Professor of Community Health and Health Behavior at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. I am also the former Dean of the School of Public Health and Health Professions. My research focuses on tobacco use. I have contributed to four Surgeon General Reports on Smoking and Health and two Monographs of the National Cancer Institute. I have served as an Associate Editor for Nicotine and Tobacco Research and currently serve as a Senior Editor of Addiction and an Associate Editor for Tobacco Control. I was a recipient of a 2006 Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) Tobacco Control Award. I have no commercial/financial interest in any of the products discussed.
