Marc Bernard Ackerman, DMD, MBA, FADPD, FACD, is Director of Orthodontics at Boston Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Developmental Biology. He is currently a Fellow in the Division of Medical Ethics, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ackerman’s textbook, 'Enhancement Orthodontics: Theory and Practice,' was released in May 2007 by Blackwell-Wiley. Dr. Ackerman is the Editor-in-Chief of Special Care in Dentistry Journal.
