Marguerite Manteau-Rao

Marguerite Manteau-Rao is COO and Co-Founder of Neurocern, a digital health startup that aims to revolutionize the way persons with dementia are diagnosed, treated and cared for. Marguerite is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and leading voice in person-centered dementia care. Before Neurocern, she developed the Mindfulness-Based Dementia Care (MBDC) approach to training dementia caregivers at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. MBDC has been taught and researched at leading academic institution throughout the U.S. Marguerite recently published a new book for family caregivers, 'Caring for a Loved One with Dementia' (New Harbinger Publications, 2016). She is a frequent guest speaker at national and international conferences. Marguerite’s work is inspired by her experience caring for her mother, and thousands of professional encounters with patients and families living with dementia. Marguerite has an MS in Industrial Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Paris, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Master in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago.
