Marianna Pogosyan is a writer, researcher and an intercultural consultant specializing in the psychology of cross-cultural transitions. Born in Armenia and raised in Japan, she has spent her life on different continents and in different languages. Her interdisciplinary research in cross-cultural psychology investigates culture’s influence on affective mechanisms and its implications for marketing. Currently, she lives in Germany, where she consults international executives and their families in all matters of psychological adaptation to a life far from home. She is the author of the blog Between Cultures on Psychology Today.
