Marissa Miley is a Global Health Correspondent at GlobalPost. Previously, she was a GlobalPost/Kaiser Family Foundation global health reporting fellow. Her work has appeared in Nature Medicine, New Scientist, and the Huffington Post, and she is the coauthor of the 2007 book Restless Virgins, a New York Times bestseller. Most recently before working with GlobalPost, she analyzed the failed campaign for climate change legislation during Obama's first term in a coauthored report commissioned by the Rockefeller Family Fund in conjunction from the Columbia Journalism School. She earned her M.A. in Journalism from Columbia, where she was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellow in science and health writing.
