Mark Hannah
Kerry '04 and Obama '08 staffer, PhD fellow at USC

Mark Hannah is a veteran of the Kerry-Edwards and Obama for America presidential campaigns and an adjunct professor of media studies at The New School. A public affairs and media analyst, Mark is the political correspondent for PBS.org's media blog, a contributor to Politico's "Arena," and a frequent commentator on Fox News. He is currently working on a book, Antisocial Media: Restoring Our Connections in a Media Addled Age, while working toward a Ph.D. at University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication.

Within the private sector, Mark has conducted sensitive public affairs campaigns for well-known multinational corporations, major industry organizations and influential non-profits. He serves on the board of advisors of Waywire (Cory Booker's social media start-up), the board of directors of the National Association for Media Literacy Education, and was a recent research fellow at the Society for New Communications Research.
