Mark Jeffries

Strategic communication and soft skills expert

Former Merrill Lynch stockbroker Mark Jeffries has become a trusted adviser and communications consultant to many global blue chip corporations, professional services organizations and law firms. Whether coaching high-level executives, taking team members through Pitch Skills or delivering his popular keynote, Jeffries' services are in continuous demand.

He also regularly appears as an image and communications expert on network television news and lifestyle programmes including NBC’s The Today Show, BBC News, Fox Business and Sky News.

Jeffries spends time ‘on-air’ discussing business success along with offering his views on leading politicians and their ‘strategic communication’. He was also the featured expert on Secrets of Body Language a two-hour special that aired on the History Channel in the fall of 2008.

From business to politics, he is retained by senior political figures from Washington to London as a key adviser on presentation and soft skills.

Jeffries was the youngest ever broker at Merrill Lynch. After five successful years of finance he was ready for something new. He hired a film crew and made a showreel that led to his first break as a presenter on UK TV.

By interviewing over 4,000 people across more than 1,500 hours of live business television, Jeffries realized what was ‘unsaid’ became almost as important as what was said.

An audience’s perception of someone could be completely altered by a simple gesture or action. So began a rapid rise in his abilities to see what the true message was and how image and presentation skills could be fine-tuned, improved and managed to create the ideal ‘communication’ in any crucial business situation.

Jeffries has also completed his first book What's Up With Your Handshake? -- an Amazon number one bestseller in the category -- ‘Selling Skills’! His second book, The Art of Business Seduction, was published in July 2010.

If you want to sharpen up the impact and effect that you and your organization has on clients, Partners and colleagues and use ‘strategic communication’ to build relationships, increase sales and win negotiations, Mark Jeffries can help.
