Mark C. Poznansky MD, PhD is an attending physician in Infectious Diseases Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His laboratory defines molecular mechanisms for novel immune processes and explores the relevance of these mechanisms to novel approaches to vaccines and immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases. Dr. Poznansky also directs the Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center (VIC) at Massachusetts General Hospital, which is dedicated to developing breakthrough therapies for cancer and infectious diseases with real potential to have a positive impact on patient care in the U.S. and abroad.
