Maryum Elnasseh

Maryum Elnasseh is an honors student at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she is double-majoring in political science and journalism. A Richmond, Virginia native, she is spending her summer as a journalism intern and communications intern for two local nonprofits that serve underprivileged youth by engaging them with the arts. At VCU, Maryum serves as the Director of Communications for United2Heal and as a Service-Learning Teaching Assistant. When she's not typing away on her laptop, Maryum enjoys drinking strawberry milk, reading poetry, and spending all her paychecks on concert tickets.
