Scholar of Ancient Religion
Michael B. Hundley (Ph.D. Cambridge 2010) was an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Munich. His work focuses on the intersection of the human and the divine in the Hebrew Bible and the ancient Near East, and he is the author of Keeping Heaven on Earth: Safeguarding the Divine Presence in the Priestly Tabernacle (Mohr Siebeck, 2011) and Gods in Dwellings: Temples and Divine Presence in the Ancient Near East (Society of Biblical Literature, 2013). He currently teaches at Central Washington University.
