Mika Salmi is CEO of creativeLIVE, the world’s leading online classroom for the creative entrepreneur. creativeLIVE unleashes the creative potential of millions of people by connecting them live with the world's most inspiring experts. A global audience (averaging 20k students per class) participates for free in deep, skills-based instruction in photography, design, video/film, audio and more. The company was founded in April 2010, and Greylock Partners funded its series A of $8M.
Mika was previously President of Global Digital Media at Viacom and prior to that was the Founder/CEO of the pioneering video and games companies AtomFilms, Shockwave and AddictingGames. He started his career in music notably discovering and signing Nine Inch Nails.
Mika is on numerous boards, including Elisa (Finnish telecom), INSEAD (#1 ranked international business school with campuses in France, Singapore and Abu Dhabi).
