Molly K. Rearick
Director of Communications, Train 4 Autism

Molly K. Rearick has spent her professional career working with children and adults with special needs as a teacher, school administrator, consultant, researcher, and university lecturer. She earned her MS in special education from Wheelock College in 2004 and is currently pursuing her PhD in special education at UCLA, with a focus on children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Molly teaches at California State University, Los Angeles in the Division of Special Education and Counseling, in the Autism certificate program. She is passionate about providing the most effective and appropriate interventions to individuals with special needs and their families.

Molly began running with Train 4 Autism in October 2008, in memory of a former student, Reid Brian Thompson. As Director of Communications, she is responsible for publishing Train 4 Autism’s e-newsletters, editing webpage content, and running online communities. She is also Chapter Co-President for the Los Angeles chapter, and is Founder and Head Coach of Team Reid.
