Monica Trasandes es la Directora de Medios en Español para GLAAD. Nació en Uruguay y se crió en San Diego. Estudió en la Universidad de California, Santa Barbara y luego en Emerson College. Es también escritora y su libro, “Broken Like This” será publicado en noviembre del 2012 por Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin’s Press.

Monica Trasandes is the Director of Spanish-Language Media at GLAAD. She was born in Uruguay and grew up in San Diego. She studied at UC Santa Barbara and later, Emerson College. She is also a writer and her novel, “Broken Like This,” will be published in November 2012 by Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin’s Press.
