Sandy Abrams had an ‘Ah-ha’ moment for a beauty product and turned the idea into a multi-million dollar business in 1993. A self-taught entrepreneur without any business background, Sandy sold her product to chains such as Bed, Bath & Beyond, Bath & Body Works, H2O PLUS, Bare Escentuals, Crabtree and Evelyn as well as Estee Lauder and QVC. After years of sweat equity building her business, she turned her naiveté into success, experience and savvy that she enjoys sharing with others. Her first book, titled Your Idea, Inc. published in 2010. Sandy has worked with brands such as Sage software, Capital One and LegalZoom as a ‘brand correspondent,’ small biz content curator, thought leader and social influencer. She is also a volunteer mentor with the non-profit organization NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship). NFTE empowers and teaches high school students in low income areas about the possibilities of owning their own business.
