Professor, SUNY New Paltz; Co-editor, 'Educational Courage: Resisting the Ambush of Public Education'
Nancy Schniedewind teaches in the master’s program in
humanistic/multicultural education at the State University of New
York-New Paltz, where she specializes in multicultural/social justice
education, cooperative learning, and women’s studies. Among her
publications are Open Minds to Equality and Women: Images and
Realities. Her latest book, Educational Courage: Resisting the Ambush
of Public Education, co-edited by Mara Sapon-Shevin, was released this
month.
