Advocate for agriculture by trade; farmer by heart

Nicole Patterson is an advocate for agriculture by trade and a farmer by heart. Patterson grew up in a small town in northern Iowa, where her passion for both agriculture and rural life was ignited. Next spring, she will obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education with a focus on communications from Iowa State University. Patterson is a former FFA state officer, and volunteer with the Iowa Food and Family Project. Following graduation, she plans to continue on her life’s journey as she marries her farmer and together she will continue to embrace, and celebrate, life in rural Iowa.
