Pamela Lewis is a teacher and writer. She has authored a book titled, Teaching While Black: A New Voice on Race and Education in New York City that was published through her alma mater, Fordham University Press. Pairing her two loves, teaching and writing, Pamela Lewis explores topics of cultural competency and racial bias within the classroom. She has appeared on several shows discussing these issues as well as socio-economic discrimination, sexism and the intersectionality of all three including the John Fugelsang Show on Sirius XM, and the Leonard Lopate Show on WNYC.
