Peggy is the President of The Monday Campaigns, a non-profit public health organization associated with Johns Hopkins, Columbia and Syracuse Universities that dedicates the first day of every week to health. Meatless Monday, the first initiative launched in 2003, has become a rapidly growing global movement driven by viral dissemination by committed advocates and the participation of influential leaders like Mario Batali, Oprah and the food service giant Sodexo. Prior to The Monday Campaigns, Peggy was an Executive Vice President with Grey Worldwide, one of the world’s largest communications companies. She’s committed to using corporate marketing techniques to promote healthy behaviors that can help reduce chronic preventable diseases.
