Peter Occhiogrosso has been the author or co-author of some 20 books over the past 25 years. He began his writing career as a jazz critic and interviewer, and served as Music Editor for Manhattan’s trend-setting arts newspaper, the Soho News. In the 1980s and ‘90s, Peter began to explore the spiritual world in a series of books including Once A Catholic, Through the Labyrinth and a popular guide to the world's religions, The Joy of Sects.

His most recent collaboration is The Promise of Love, Sex, and Intimacy by Mark Whitwell (Atria, 2012). Three of the books Peter coauthored have become New York Times Best Sellers.
