Host, <i>Extreme Clutter</i> on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network

Peter Walsh, host of Extreme Clutter on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network is a noted international organization expert, TV personality, best-selling author, and radio host who characterizes himself as "part-contractor and part-therapist." Peter was a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show as the "get your life organized" guy. As one of the "Oprah Friends," Peter has also contributed to O, The Oprah Magazine and O Magazine's "Live Your Best Life" weekends.

Previously, Peter starred as the tough-love professional organizer in more than 100 episodes of the hit TLC show Clean Sweep (which continues to air all over the world). He was also the host of the weekly, national radio program The Peter Walsh Show as part of the Oprah & Friends Radio network on XM156 and Sirius195.

Peter is the author of the New York Times best-sellers It's All Too Much: An Easy Plan for Living a Richer Life with Less Stuff, How to Organize Just About Everything, Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat? and Enough Already!, which has served as the basis for his series on OWN. Peter's latest book, Lighten Up, was distributed by Simon & Schuster in January 2011. Peter is also the creator of the “Get Organized!-Peter Walsh” app to motivate people to declutter and organize their home.

As well as being an expert in organizational design, Peter is also an experienced educator and a skilled motivational speaker. Born and raised in Australia, he moved to Los Angeles in 1994 to launch a business helping organizations improve employees' job satisfaction and effectiveness. His company, Peter Walsh Design, has helped thousands of people organize their living and work spaces for optimal efficiency and liberated living. Peter now lives (clutter-free) in Los Angeles and travels extensively, both nationally and internationally. “Extreme Clutter” (formerly titled “Enough Already! With Peter Walsh”) will have a two-night premiere on Sunday, January 1 (11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. ET/PT) immediately following the two-hour premiere of Oprah Winfrey's new primetime series, “Oprah’s Next Chapter” (9:00 p.m. – 11 p.m. ET/PT), with a new episode of "Extreme Clutter" airing the following evening, Monday, January 2 (10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. ET/PT) in its regular time period.
