Phil Arnold is Associate Professor of Indigenous religions at Syracuse University and the Director of the Skä·noñh—Great Law of Peace Center at Onondaga Lake (near Syracuse), where the Haudenosaunee tradition known as the Great Law of Peace was established over 1000 years ago (http://skanonhcenter.org). He lives near the Onondaga Nation with his wife Sandy Bigtree (Akwesasne Mohawk), a performer raised in Syracuse, and their twin sons Clay and Kroy who play the game of lacrosse--the Creator's Game.
