Qasim Rashid is an attorney, author and visiting fellow at Harvard University's Prince Alwaleed bin Talal School of Islamic Studies. He is a national spokesperson for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Rashid is the author of the Amazon #1 Bestseller in Islam, EXTREMIST, and the critically acclaimed The Wrong Kind of Muslim. The Wrong Kind of Muslim received the Kirkus Star and was selected as Kirkus' Top 100 Indie books of 2013.

He regularly publishes across a wide array of media including TIME, The Washington Post, USA Today, Daily Beast, NPR, and CNN.

Qasim is an award-winning member of the Muslim Writers Guild of America, having previously co-authored and co-edited two books, (Towards a Greater Jihad and By the Dawn's Early Light).
