Rebecca M. Smith

Rebecca Smith is Jane Austen's great-great-great-great-great niece and the author of the nonfiction guide, Miss Jane Austen's Guide to Modern Life's Dilemmas, which is being released simultaneously in the US and the UK. Smith studied History at the University of Southampton and is now a Teaching Fellow in English and Creative Writing there. She was also the first Writer in Residence at Jane Austen's House Museum in Chawton, Hampshire.
