Rhea Suh

Rhea Suh is the president of NRDC and the NRDC Action Fund. NRDC is a leading nonprofit group that preserves clean air and water, protects wild landscapes, and fosters vibrant communities. Using legal and scientific expertise and the power of 1.4 million members and activists, NRDC creates the solutions and enforces the laws that safeguard our environment. The NRDC Action Fund's mission is to build political support for protecting the planet and its people.

Before joining NRDC, Suh served as the assistant secretary for policy, management, and budget at the U.S. Department of the Interior. She led several initiatives on federal land conversation, climate adaptation, and international affairs. Suh also worked at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation promoting clean energy and preserving western landscapes.
