Richard Gartland

Richard Gartland currently serves as a senior tax preparer at H&R Block’s Glendale office in California. With more than 26 years of financial management experience, Gartland became a tax preparer four years ago and his expertise spans from investment income, self-employment, S-corps, rental real-estate and corporate returns. Gartland was formerly a CFO of a 120 person corporation with partnership interests.

Gartland previously served as the treasurer and then president of the AT Center, a non-profit based in Los Angeles. During this tenure, he revamped their accounting practices, created monthly financial statements and year-end reports for the board and prepared their tax filings.
