Robert Bliwise
Founding Editor, Duke Magazine
Robert Bliwise came to Duke University as founding editor of Duke Magazine, the university’s alumni magazine, in 1983. Over the years the magazine has won numerous national awards for writing and design. He continues in that editorial role at Duke, where he also teaches magazine journalism at the Sanford School of Public Policy. He has written for The American Scholar, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and other publications, particularly on themes related to the arts and culture.
