Ross McCall

Scottish actor Ross McCall became known in the U.S. after his work as Cpl. Joseph Liebgott in the critically acclaimed HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers" for producer Steven Spielberg and executive producer Tom Hanks. McCall recently completed the indies "The Beautiful Ones," "One Night In Love," "It's not you, it's me," "Willed to kill," "A Dollywood Christmas," "AutoMotive" and "In Embryo." He has also starred in the features "Green Street Hooligans," "Green Street Hooligans 2," "Serving up Richard," "Alpha Males," "Trade Routes," "Autopsy," "LD 50 Lethal Dose," and "Waterline," among others. He also played opposite Tom Hanks in Robert Zemeckis’s "The Polar Express." McCall has worked on many television series including, 'CSI: NY', 'The Man', 'Bones', 'Ghost Whisperer', ‘Lucifer’, two seasons of the critically acclaimed 'Crash' for Paul Haggis and Glen Mazzara, 'Luther', 'Castle', recurred on Season 9 of ‘24’ and recurred on 'White Collar' as Matthew Keller. As a writer he has sold four of his pilot scripts to ABC, Warner Horizon, Indomina and Lantica, and has producer credits on "The Beautiful Ones" and "One Night In Love." Born in Scotland, McCall moved to England with his family at an early age. He played the young Freddie Mercury in the music video “The Miracle” for the rock group Queen, then quickly began performing in London’s West End theatre district in the stage productions of “Oliver!,” “The King and I,” “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Les Miserables,” and Neil Simon’s “Lost in Yonkers.” In his younger years, he appeared on many British television series which should probably never be googled. McCall currently lives in Los Angeles.
