Sanjay Surana

Travel Writer

Singapore-based writer Sanjay Surana's first travel memory was a flight he took as a five-year-old from London to Mumbai with his three-year old sister, during which he slapped an air stewardess (the pilot later told him off). He has since reformed his ways. Sanjay was raised in London, and has lived in Hong Kong and New York, where he worked for Condé Nast Traveler and also wrote for Time Out New York. He is dying to go to Egypt: He visited when his mother was six-months pregnant with him, so that doesn't count.
