Hi, my name is Sarah-Jane Bedwell, and I’m a registered dietitian. While no two people have the exact same nutritional needs, I hope to give you fun insights on what tasty, balanced and healthy meals look like by posting what I eat every day. My busy schedule and travel demands mean even “experts” like me aren’t perfect when time-crunched or jetway-bound. You can look forward to shopping and cooking with me, too! In my free time, I love to run (I’m a 4-time marathoner! Any runners out there?), spend time with my husband Joe and our two dogs, Inky and Buddy, travel (my favorite trip ever was a two-week cruise around the Hawaiian islands), and splurge on nice dinners (Nashville’s finest include Tayst, our first green restaurant, J. Alexander's, Capitol Grille and the home cooking and biscuits at Loveless Cafe!). Having grown up in Oxford, MS, I have a passion for Southern food and culture, but have a hunger to know the world's cultures and cuisines.
