Scott T. Latimer, M.D.

Scott T. Latimer, M.D., is Humana’s market president of Senior Products in Central Florida. Based in Tampa, Dr. Latimer is responsible for the company’s portfolio of Medicare benefit plans in regions including Tampa Bay and Orlando.

Dr. Latimer was previously the president and chief operating officer of Humana in Central Florida. Before that, he served as medical director and then president of Humana’s Kentucky market.

Before joining Humana in 1996, Dr. Latimer served as medical director and then northeast regional medical director at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Prior to that, he worked for nine years in multiple positions at Hitchcock Clinic/Matthew Thornton Health Plan.

Dr. Latimer received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College; master’s in public health and tropical medicine and medical degrees from Tulane University; and a master’s degree in business administration from New Hampshire College. He completed his residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center.
