Sheila Marikar

I write about pop culture.

Sheila is an editor, reporter, and writer living in New York.

From 2007 to 2013, she was an online and on-air entertainment reporter for ABC News. She filed from the Emmys, the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the Sundance Film Festival, and the front of a Times Square public bathroom being opened by Kim Kardashian (really). In 2011, she took a break from Hollywood to follow another kind of celebrity, Sarah Palin.

During 2012, she blogged about my wedding planning, prepping, and stressing experience for Women's Health magazine. She's also written about fashion, food and other fun stuff for The Huffington Post, UntappedCities, and Mashable.

In her spare time, she reads, cooks, and works out (or thinks about working out, which is almost as good). Her weaknesses include red wine, the cheese counter at Eataly, Amazon's personalized recommendations and Netflix.
