Shomira Sanyal is an active Half the Sky Movement campus ambassador from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi. She has contributed to spreading awareness through holding screenings, encouraging others to become campus ambassadors, writing for the Half the Sky blog and serving on the panel of judges for the Students Rebuild Awards earlier this year. She spends her vacations on internships; working with prominent NGOs in remote villages of rural India on developmental issue. She is inspired by the strong-willed women community leaders who are doing extraordinary work in those areas.
