I'm a college instructor with a background in sociology, and I have always been interested in topics related to health (especially women's health), gender, politics, and the media. I have a profound understanding for the relationship that exists between our social structure and our individual experiences. I believe we'll never make progress until we address the connections between the two. When I'm not teaching or writing, I'm hanging out with my husband, my toddler, and our 7 year old puggle.
