Sophie de Rakoff

Sophie de Rakoff was born and raised in London, but moved to the US in 1990. During her New York years she worked at Paper Magazine, writing entertainment pieces. Sophie also wrote for other publications including Vogue, Dazed and Confused, Detour and Vibe. After moving to LA Sophie was Paper Magazines west Coast contributor for several years, writing 6 cover stories. During this time she segued into the film business, and switched tracks to become a costume designer. Sophie has designed over 15 films, six of which were with Reese Witherspoon. Sophie has also designed countless music videos and commercials.
