Steve Grossman

Massachusetts Treasurer

Steven Grossman is the Treasurer and Receiver General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Elected in early 2011, Grossman has made the promotion of small businesses one of the cornerstones of his Administration, spear-heading a program that encourages increased lending activity to small credit-worthy businesses by depositing Treasury reserve funds of up to $5 million apiece in Massachusetts community banks. Prior to being elected Treasurer, Grossman spent 35 years as CEO of Grossman Marketing Group in Somerville, Massachusetts, a 101-year-old, fourth-generation family business.
