Steven Miller, PhD. Research Professor, Center for Marine Science, UNC Wilmington. Dr. Miller directed the Aquarius program in Florida from it's start in 1991 to 2005, when he stepped down to focus on his coral reef research programs and other projects. He is a founding member of the Shifting Baselines Ocean Media Campaign that produces entertaining short films and public service announcements (www.shiftingbaselines.org). He was Executive Producer for the film, Flock of Dodos - The Intelligent Design/Evolution Circus, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was voted one of the top ten science films of the 2000s by Smithsonian.com.
